UniDoc Reflects on Successes One Year After AMD Telemedicine Software Purchase
6 June 2026UniDoc to Update and Relaunch Legacy eHealth Systems with Pawnee Mental Health Services Across Rural Kansas
Ex-AMD Telemedicine account aims to relaunch utilizing UniDoc Connect-enabled eHealth system
VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESS Newswire / May 7, 2026 / UniDoc Health Corp. (CSE:UDOC)(FRA:L7T)(OTCQB:UDOCF) (“UniDoc” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Pawnee Mental Health Services (“Pawnee”), a provider of mental health, substance use recovery and crisis services across 10 north central Kansas counties, has purchased UniDoc Connect software licenses to trial and relaunch eHealth equipment across its rural Kansas office network. Pawnee’s account originated with AMD Telemedicine which transitioned to UniDoc following the Company’s purchase of AMD Telemedicine software and related assets.
Key Takeaways:
- Pawnee purchased UniDoc Connect software licenses to trial eHealth equipment.
- The trial will focus on testing, resetting and retraining users on eHealth Clinical Assist and Vital Signs Carts.
- The program addresses a rural staffing constraint across Pawnee’s multi-county office network.
Case Study: Pawnee Mental Health Services
Pawnee provides care across a rural region of Kansas. Its services are focused on mental health, and the organization has expanded to add select health services in person and through eHealth.
The size and geography of Pawnee’s service area create a staffing constraint. Pawnee does not have the advanced-practice registered nurses and other healthcare professionals needed to place clinical staff at each office location. The eHealth trial is intended to help Pawnee assess how remote clinical workflows can support care across multiple offices.
Implementation Scope
Pawnee purchased eHealth equipment through AMD Telemedicine before UniDoc’s acquisition of AGNES Connect and related AMD Telemedicine assets. Under the UniDoc Connect software license, Pawnee is now trialing the equipment and restarting the program.
The current scope includes two use cases: Clinical Assist Carts are distributed across rural Pawnee locations and include UniDoc Connect software, a multipurpose medical video camera, a stethoscope and vital signs monitors. The Vital Signs Carts are located at larger Pawnee offices to assist non-medical professionals with taking and recording vitals.
Program History and Future Aims
Pawnee’s eHealth program had paused due to staffing and priority changes. The relaunch is focused on equipment testing, system resets and user retraining.
The Company expects the trial to support Pawnee’s assessment of how UniDoc Connect-enabled equipment can help extend medical support across its existing office footprint without requiring an advanced practice registered nurses or other healthcare professional to be present in every location.
“Pawnee’s use case shows why UniDoc pursued the AMD assets,” said Tony Baldassarre, CEO of UniDoc Health Corp. “The equipment is in place. The need is to bring the systems back online, train users and prove out how the software can support remote clinical workflows across rural offices. This account also reflects our plan to support historic AGNES customers, turning them into current UniDoc Connect customers.”
