American Accreditation Association joins the ISfTeH

The American Accreditation Association (AAA) has joined the ISfTeH global network.

AAA is an internationally recognized accreditation body, operating in more than 53 countries. AAA provides comprehensive accreditation programs for hospitals, clinics, and specialized healthcare organizations, supporting them in aligning with and sustaining international best practices.

AAA Accreditation standards are recognized globally by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), reinforcing our role in strengthening digital health systems worldwide. These standards provide a rigorous framework to ensure that telehealth services are safe, reliable, and patient-centered, with a specific focus on:

• Clinical safety and continuity of care
• Data security and patient privacy
• Technology reliability and interoperability
• Provider competency and training
• Patient accessibility and engagement
