The ISfTeH BETTEReHEALTH Working Group is dedicated to enhancing global collaboration in eHealth initiatives by fostering partnerships, knowledge sharing, and coordination among diverse stakeholders.
Domain of action
While maintaining a global perspective, the group's primary focus centers on Africa, including Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), low-resource settings, and developing nations, acknowledging the unique challenges and opportunities in these regions. The group's endeavors within the eHealth domain revolve around three core dimensions: human, technical, and public policy factors. This comprehensive approach recognizes the interdependence of these factors and their collective influence on the successful implementation of eHealth solutions.

Establishing robust connections with civil society actors to ensure eHealth initiatives align with community needs.

Facilitating informed decision-making for both end-user communities and policymakers
Networking and collaborating internationally in a partnership with diverse expertise from health services, technical implementation, and academic research.
Exploring the activities of key stakeholders on the ground to distill valuable insights and lessons learned, drawn from various regions worldwide.
Our aims
Develop proposals to continue research & dissemination activities around the Working Group’s mission.
Support and actively contribute to ISfTeH’s collaboration with WHO.
Maintain and strengthen the regional eHealth hubs network (that was established within the BETTEReHEALTH project).
Further develop our collaboration with the WHO Digital Health Atlas on developing eHealth registries.
